Hi Glen is 16 now and hasn't had an eye test and I was wondering whether its something I should be looking into. He wouldn't be able to have a normal eye test as he wouldn't be able to say the letters etc. Does anyone know or have been somewhere that an eye test can be performed on someone such as Glen? I would like to know who I would have to contact.

Hi Jeanne , i wonder if you rung your GP's surgery and talked to one of the receptionists they'd know or be able to find out for you where he could go for an eye test ? Sams ok with a normal eyetest but the GP has reffered Sam to hospital for things that need a more specialised approach , like the dentist or hearing tests , blood tests and things . I think if you rang up and explained at your doctors surgery what you were after they'd sort something out for Glen ,they would probably make arrangements for him to see someone at hospital who is equipped better to give Glen an eye test thats tailored to him .
